How to use the accura Pulse: your first twenty minutes
Share
New to cupping? Good, this is written for you. Here’s exactly how to run your first session on the accura Pulse, start to finish.
1. Charge it
Top up over USB-C until the LCD shows a full charge. A full battery lasts roughly a week of daily use.
2. Choose your cup head
Larger heads cover broad areas like the upper back; smaller heads suit shoulders, calves, and around joints.
3. Start at level 1
Place the cup, and begin on the lowest of the 12 suction levels. You should feel a gentle, steady pull, not a pinch. Sit with that for a moment before deciding whether to go up a single step.
4. Add heat if you like, separately
The hot compress is its own control. Add a little warmth, or none. Because it’s independent of suction, you can find what works one variable at a time.
5. Let the timer run
The session ends itself at 20 minutes. There’s no need to watch the clock. The auto-off is there so you never over-treat an area.
6. Aftercare
Drink some water and go easy on the area for the rest of the day. Any faint marks will fade over the next few days. Tomorrow, repeat the settings that felt right. Consistency is what makes it stick.
Always glide with a little oil. Whenever you move the cup along a muscle rather than parking it on one spot, spread a thin layer of body oil or lotion first. It lets the cup slide instead of dragging the skin, which keeps it comfortable, helps prevent irritation, and makes the session feel more like a massage.
