Ten minutes for a desk-bound neck and shoulders
Share
Screen time has a signature: tight upper traps, a stiff neck, and that band of tension between the shoulder blades. Here’s a calm ten-minute routine to work exactly those spots.
Before you start
Pick a smaller cup head for the neck and shoulders. Charge the device, and set suction to level 1–2 to begin. Add a little heat if you like. It’s a separate control.
The routine
- Upper traps (2–3 min each side): place the cup on the meaty ridge between neck and shoulder. Keep it gentle; this area is sensitive.
- Between the shoulder blades (3–4 min): work the rhomboid area either side of the spine, never directly on the spine itself.
- Base of the neck (1–2 min): low suction only, staying on muscle at the sides, avoid the front of the throat entirely.
Let the 20-minute auto-off be your ceiling; ten is plenty for a daily desk reset.
Make it stick
The people who get lasting relief aren’t the ones who go hardest. They’re the ones who do a short, consistent session and pair it with getting up to move. Same settings, same spots, most days.
